Ferrari Enzo Concept
The concept "extreme sports car", the synthesis of the highest levels of technology and performance that Ferrari can offer its customers for use on the road, is epitomized by extraordinary models in the brand's history. In recent decades, the GTO, the F40 and the F50 have represented state of the art in engineering in search of maximum performance, and the ultimate sports car driving experience. The common denominators of each were the shattering performance and the exclusivity of limited production.
It is in this context that the Enzo appears, an expression of the concept of extreme sport developed for road use but as a synthesis of the most advanced concepts in Formula 1 racing technology.
The Enzo Ferrari enjoys a unique advantage: it benefits from an intense, continuous transfer of technology generated by the long list of Ferrari successes in Formula 1 over the years in which the car was being developed, culminating in three consecutive World Constructors' Titles and two World Drivers' Titles. Drawing on this technological heritage, Ferrari set itself the goal of developing The Enzo as an integrated system in which even the limits of the driver's performance are enhanced by the human-machine interface expressed through Formula 1. The Enzo is the realization of this concept.
