Ferrari 550 Maranello Interior

In the best Ferrari tradition, the interior of the 550 Maranello harmonizes the functional practicality of the sports car with the lavish equipment and finish of a luxury car. The contoured facia links the central control, where all the car's instruments are concentrated. The cockpit's LCD analogue instruments are grouped in the central field of vision.

Controls, positioned ahead of the gear lever, can be reached easily and instinctively. The sixteen-way adjustable seats cosset the driver in comfort and confidence. The steering wheel and pedals are adjustable. The Maranello's passenger enjoys plenty of space, and seat adjustment is identical to the driver's.

Both occupants are protected by airbags, and enjoy the comfort of a thermostatic climate control system. Behind the wrap-around seats, whose simple design is enhanced by the quality of the upholstery, there is a large storage shelf, complete with classic leather straps. Racing seats are available on request.

The Maranello comes with a Sony radio and a 6-CD changer is located in the trunk. The trunk is also equipped with a tool kit, and provides 6.5 cu. ft. of storage space. The car incorporates an anti-theft system combined with the engine management unit (immobilizer) and activated by a radio frequency signal.
