Michael Schumacher Behind the Wheels

Michael Schumacher will drive the Ferrari F2007 of Kimi Raikkonen, in Barcelona, at a two-day test. To comply with new rules for the next upcoming season, this car is stripped down of traction control and many other driver aids. Michael Schumacher has quite some experience of pretraction control cars of Formula One. So, he has been invited to test it.

Ferrari’s spokesman has said that it is not their purpose by this test to bring Michael Schumacher back on behind the wheels. If he wanted, he is always welcomed. But this is just for testing purposes.

Ferrrai Building Theme Park in Dubai

Ferrari is planning to build a huge theme park in Dubai for a cost of around $625 million. Dubai is already filled with so many so called “great attractions” to bring travelers in.

This Ferrari theme park will have total of 24 so called ‘attractions’ like a full racing circuit, quite many different types of roller coasters (one F1 branded roller coaster included), a huge G force tower, few very advanced hi-tech theaters, and much much more.

This Ferrari them park is supposed to be ready in 2009 and should be opened in 2009 only. Hope to see it soon.

McLaren to Prove No Ferrari Parts

In 2008 championship challenger, McLaren has to prove that they are not using any of the Ferrari’s intellectual property. This is the be proved at the time of examination by scrutineers of FIA.

This examination was ordered by sport’s governing body as a punishment from the “spygate” affair.  In  this, Ferrari designs were passed over to McLaren by one of the the Italian team engineer Nigel Stepney. The report from  scrutineers will be give to the  world motorsport council on December 7 2007.
